At Iturcemi, we believe that safety is more than just a statistic—it is a daily commitment to our team. Our Health and Safety Director, Borja, recently shared this philosophy at the Ergonomics and Psychosociology Congress in Gijón.
During the event, we shared our perspective on how to improve work environments:
-The danger of poor metrics: When safety indicators are poorly defined, they can work against real prevention.
-Prioritizing awareness: Real safety isn’t about signs or posters; it’s about building a culture where health always comes before numbers.
We continue to champion a prevention model rooted in culture, awareness, and people. We are grateful to the organizers and participants for such an inspiring dialogue on the future of safety at work.
