This project was developed over two years by a consortium of Asturian companies to design and build a facility for studying and operating the various processes of green hydrogen generation, transport, and use in industry.
A digital twin of the facility was developed, enabling immersive 3D interaction with the system. A distributed control system was also developed using Siemens PCS NEO, the latest version of Siemens’ DCS, and a data platform was created to consolidate and utilize all the facility’s information. Dashboards for different user profiles were developed on this platform, and mathematical models were integrated to complement the simulation from the digital twin.
This project represents a culmination of the various digitalization technologies we utilize, such as digital twins, data platforms, and the development of simulation models.
