Gas Monitoring System.

Fluid and Energy Network Monitoring and Analytics in a Steel Plant

This project, developed for ArcelorMittal, was presented at AVEVA Day 2025 and was identified as a key project within ArcelorMittal in 2025. One of the project’s objectives was to centralize all fluid and energy network information in a single system, providing visibility to the information at all levels of the plant. This enabled data analysis, integration of calculation models, and the development of BI reports.

The integration of a calculation model for distributing coke oven gas to consumers, minimizing flare combustion, has optimized gas consumption and reduced CO2 emissions.

Furthermore, the development of functionalities such as automatic shutdown categorization and sensor anomaly detection has added significant value to the solution at the plant, which has already decided to extend the contracted services to continue expanding the number of developed utilities.
