This project involved the deployment of PIMSOFT’s SIGMAFINE software at the ArcelorMittal plant in Asturias. This tool performs a mass balance on the network and allows for the consolidation of values ​​from different meters to correct any discrepancies in the measurements.

Using data from the AVEVA PI System, the SIGMAFINE models allow for precise network balancing, performing hourly and daily network analyses. In this way, thanks to the quality indicators generated in each run, it is possible to monitor sensors that may require maintenance intervention and use the reconciled data for reliable and automated internal accounting.

In addition to programming SIGMAFINE, the results were integrated into the AVEVA PI System to provide a unified monitoring system, and several automated reports were programmed with the results of the model runs.
