Iberastur, the mechanical division of Iturcemi Group, is specialized in the engineering, manufacturing, and assembly of industrial equipment, structures, and machinery.

We develop turnkey projects that combine advanced engineering, in-house manufacturing, and rigorous on-site execution.

We count on around 80 specialized professionals and on our own 3,000 square metres of workshop equipped for manufacturing  structures, pressure vessels, ducts, chimneys, and industrial machinery.

Our digital methodology and integration capabilities allow us to offer precise, safe, and sustainable solutions across all industrial sectors.

Specialized capabilities in Industrial Machinery

1. Design and Calculation of Metal Structures

  • Structural calculations in accordance with EN 1993 (Eurocode 3), EN 1090, and specific client or project regulations.
  • Design of supports, bypasses, platforms, racks, roofs, and auxiliary structures to process plants.
  • Analysis of dynamic, thermal, and seismic loads in industrial environments.
  • 3D modelling and interference review with other disciplines (piping, equipment, ducts).
  • Simulation of stresses, strains, and deformations using finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
  • Design optimization to reduce weight, improve manufacturability, and facilitate assembly.

2. Industrial Machinery Development and Manufacturing

  • Conceptual and detailed design of special machinery and equipment.
  • Structural simulation and calculation to guarantee safety and reliability.
  • Automation and integration with control and operating systems.
  • Manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning at the plant.
  • Revamping and modernization of existing equipment to increase its performance.
  • Development of operation and maintenance manuals.
