Iberastur, Iturcemi Group’s mechanical division, is specialized in the design, manufacture and assembly of industrial piping networks for all kind of water, vapor, air, gas, chemical products and thermal oil.

Our experience in multidisciplinary projects and complex process plants allows us to offer robust, safe and efficient piping systems adapted to each client’s operational conditions related to pressure, temperature, material, and applicable legislation.

We count on our own workshop to premanufacture products, on qualifield welding and assembly staff and on certified procedures to assure system’s thorough traceability and total quality.

Specialized capabilities in Industrial Piping Engineering

1. Fluid process installations

We develop complex solutions for facilities where industrial fluids are handled and transported including:

Design and calculation of piping and fluid networks (water, air, steam, gases, chemicals).
Design and manufacture of storage and process tanks and vessels.
Heat exchangers and auxiliary systems (pumps, valves, instrumentation).
Hydraulic and mechanical simulation to ensure safety and efficiency.
Integration with safety regulations, HAZOP study.

2. Selection of Materials and Components

Selection of pipes, valves, flanges, gaskets, and supports according to pressure, temperature, and medium.
Working with carbon steel, stainless steel, special alloys, and engineering plastics.
Evaluation of chemical compatibility and mechanical resistance.
Complete technical documentation of materials and certificates.

3. Pipe Premanufacturing and Welding

Cutting, bevelling, bending, and assembly in our own workshop.
Approved welding procedures (WPS, PQR).
TIG, MIG, manual arc, and orbital welding.
Non-destructive testing and inspections: X-ray, penetrant liquids, and ultrasound.

4. Plant Assembly and Supervision

Transport and installation of premanufactured sections.
Assembly at height, in confined spaces, or in ATEX environments.
Commissioning support and hydraulic or pneumatic testing.
Site supervision and integration with other technical packages.
